An alphabetical list of terms used in the manual. Each term has a short definition (1–3 sentences) and a pointer to the chapter where the topic is discussed in detail. Search with Ctrl+F.
A
Account guardians — the protection mechanisms: Daily P/L Limits, Equity Guard (profit side), Basket Max Loss (basket loss), Profit Target. Chapters 14–15.
Activation Zone — an area on the chart (price × time) in which a button of a given direction is allowed to generate signals. It can have the shape of a channel (band) or a line with tolerance (Zone/Line padding). BUY is drawn below price, SELL above price; it can be sloped. Opt-in per button. Chapter 11.
Active Side — a button setting determining on which side of the OKUR threshold (Threshold) the button watches the market. Values: BELOW (below the threshold, typically BUY) or ABOVE (above, typically SELL). The direction of extreme tracking follows from it automatically: BELOW → minimum, ABOVE → maximum. Chapter 9.
Alerts (section) — a section of the OkurraGlobal panel (and the EA’s Inputs group) with switches for muting alert popups. In EA 1.26 there are eleven switches: ten panel cells — nine popup groups (guardian auto-closes, daily limit, missing SL, instance conflict, BEa still armed after a restart, the BEa level crossing to the shield’s side, offline protection, broker rejections, trigger loop) plus a shared switch for push notifications — and the Own Registry Popup (EA Inputs window only, the only one enabled by default). Muting only silences the popup/push — the journal entry always remains; license alerts have no switch. Chapters 5.5, 7.9 and 21.11.
Algo Trading — the global MetaTrader 5 function permitting automated trading. Without it no EA will make a trade. You enable it with the green button in the MT5 toolbar (and in the Common tab when attaching an EA). Chapter 3.
Auto-Arm — six types of automatic BEa arming: by time (an hour, latched once per day), on a SAR flip, on an MMD cross (by default the full three-cloud alignment Fast 5 / Slow 12 / Trend 48; “without Trend” only after enabling the optional 2-Cloud mode), on an SR breakout, on an OKUR transition and — as of 1.28 — on an OKUR bounce off an exhaustion extreme. Each with its own parameters, disabled by default, combined with “or” logic. Chapter 12.
Auto re-arm — the automatic return of a button disabled by Stop on Opposite once all active SO filters return to agreement with the direction. Applies only to the “disable button” reaction (not “close positions” or “close, keep active”). Chapter 13.
B
Band Exit Threshold — the farther OKUR threshold; crossing it closes the Signal Band validity window (the signal is considered “late”). Chapter 9.
Basket Max Loss — the guardian of the basket’s loss side: when the basket’s loss exceeds the limit (e.g. 3% of equity), the EA closes the whole basket, resets the basket and keeps playing. “The safety net of the planned loss”. Not to be confused with Equity Guard (profit) or Daily Loss (day stop). Chapter 15.
Basket reset — zeroing the basket’s result counter (e.g. after Basket Max Loss or a complete close) — from that moment the result counts from zero. Chapter 15.
BEa (Break Even Auto) — the proprietary mechanism for managing a basket of positions as a whole. It computes the weighted break-even, adds BEa Gain and closes the basket when price touches that level. It has a hedge mode (a net basket of both directions). Not to be confused with per-position Break Even (chapter 9). Chapter 12.
BEa Gain — the profit margin above the weighted break-even at which BEa closes the basket (initially 30 points). Chapter 12.
Break Even (per position) — moving a single position’s SL to the entry level (plus a margin) once the position reaches the start threshold. Different from BEa (basket). Chapter 9.
Bullish / Bearish — the MMD cloud alignment: bullish = uptrend (Fast above Slow above Trend), bearish = the mirror image. Chapter 10.
Button (Strategy Button) — an independent strategy track. There are five of them (B1…B5); until release 1.28 there were seven — B6/B7 were retired in 2.00 (migration: chapter 3.5). Chapters 4, 9.
C
Chained windows (windows across days) — the EA does not join Trading Hours windows of adjacent days: MON “21:00-23:59” + TUE “00:00-07:00” leaves a gap (minute 23:59 — a window’s end is exclusive). Overnight continuity comes only from a single midnight-crossing window entered on the day it starts (e.g. MON “21:00-07:00”). Chapter 16.5.
Close All / Close Profit / Close SELL / Close BUY — global actions on the panel closing, respectively, all / profitable / SELL / BUY positions. Chapter 8.
Close Model — how the first attempt is sent when closing many positions at once: Auto (honors the async flag), Sync only (one by one, waiting for the result), Async first (all at once), Adaptive (the default — asynchronously, and when some positions get rejected it switches to synchronous mode for the cooldown period, 30 min by default, then retries async). Retries are always synchronous. Chapter 5.5.
Companion indicators — eight visualization indicators (OKUR, SAR, MMD, SR; local and global versions) showing what the strategy “sees”; they never generate signals. Free. Chapter 6.
Cooldown — the period during which triggers concerning a button are ignored after loop detection, initially 5 s. Chapter 17.
Cross-button Triggers — the proprietary layer letting buttons enable/disable one another. Four event slots per button; transitive propagation. Layer 9 of the architecture. Chapter 17.
D
Daily P/L Limits (DPL) — the guardians of the daily cycle: Daily Profit and Daily Loss, counted from the day reset. Reactions: hard stop (close everything, disable buttons until the reset) or notify (alert + log, trading continues). The highest priority among the guardians. Chapter 14.
Daily reset hour — the hour at which Daily P/L Limits start counting the daily result anew (initially 00:00, broker time). The field label in the panel keeps its original wording. Chapter 14.
Day reset — the moment at which Daily P/L Limits start counting anew (the first tick after the reset hour): equity is captured, flags are cleared, Initial Enabled buttons are reactivated, an optional pause. (Formerly “rollover / anchor”.) Chapter 14.
Design panels — the OkurraButton and OkurraGlobal indicators used to design configurations and save .set files. They work without the EA, on a separate chart. Chapters 4, 5.
Direction — the direction of positions generated by a button: BUY or SELL. Chapter 9.
Distance (Equity Guard) — an EG parameter: 0 = a target/hard profit threshold (close at +Start); >0 = profit trailing (lock-in = peak − Distance). Chapter 15.
E
EA Panel — the robot’s interface on the execution chart: six sections (Strategy Buttons, Visualization, Global Actions, Status Block, Target Blocks, Trade Markers) and six info modes (B/G/S/T/C/H). Separate from the design panels. Chapter 8.
Equity — the current account value including the unrealized result of open positions. The basis of the DPL/EG/PT/Basket Max Loss calculations.
Equity captured at reset (reference value) — the equity value remembered at the moment of the day reset; the daily result = current equity − equity captured at reset. (Formerly “anchor equity”.) Chapter 14.
EA master switch (ON/OFF) — the button in the panel’s top row that stops this one instance of the robot; since release 2.00 a freshly attached EA starts factory-OFF (clicking ON is a deliberate decision). Not to be confused with disabling AutoTrading, which stops every expert on the platform. OFF means “wind down”, not “freeze mid-step”: nothing new starts (signals, sensors, re-entry, restoring buttons at the daily rollover), but whatever is open is wound down — virtual SL/TP, break-even, trailing, T. on Server, the safety guardians, and the BEa shield, which still arms and closes the basket out. Clicking OFF always requires a confirmation. The state survives F7, a recompile and a terminal restart. Chapter 8.
Equity Guard (EG) — the guardian of the basket’s PROFIT side. A positive “Start” = the profit threshold; Distance controls the mode (target vs profit trailing). It tracks Total PnL (floating + realized). It is not a loss guardian — Basket Max Loss is for that. Chapter 15.
Extreme Mode — a button field (as of 1.28) controlling the lifecycle of the tracked OKUR extreme and of signal consumption: Classic (behavior as before) / Keep Across Exits (the extreme survives zone exits — the former Keep Extreme Across Zone Exits field) / One Per Visit (one signal per zone visit) / New Extreme (the next signal only after a deeper extreme) / New Extreme + Keep. Consumption happens exclusively at pending registration. Chapter 9.5–9.6.
Expert Advisor (EA) — MetaTrader’s automated trading system. O!kurra Capital Defense EA is one such system. Chapter 2.
F
Fast / Slow / Trend (MMD) — the three average periods in MMD Clouds (initially 5 / 12 / 48). Chapter 10.
Floating PnL — the unrealized result of open positions (“what floats right now”), as opposed to realized PnL. Chapter 15.
Follow BEa — a per-button setting reacting to a BEa state change (arming / manual disarm / realization) with a direction choice (own / BUY / SELL / both). It replaced the former “Opposite Hedge Button”. A simpler version of cross-button triggers. Chapter 12.
G
Global Actions — a panel section with five rows of actions: Zone (SELL/BUY), Target (SELL/BUY), BEa (SELL/BUY), Close All / Close Profit, Close SELL / Close BUY. Each row can be hidden. Chapter 8.
Global filter — a shared instance of a filter (SAR/MMD/SR/OKUR) for all buttons that “subscribe” to it. Configured once in OkurraGlobal. The OKUR Filter is available only globally. Chapter 10.
H
Hard stop — the Daily P/L Limits reaction after a threshold is exceeded: close all positions, cancel pending orders, disable buttons until the nearest day reset. Chapter 14.
Hedge — positions in both directions (BUY and SELL) at the same time. Possible thanks to the independence of the buttons; BEa has a dedicated hedge mode (a net basket of both sides). Chapter 12, scenario 3 (chapter 20).
Hedging vs Netting (account type) — hedging keeps separate positions and allows BUY and SELL simultaneously on one symbol (recommended for O!kurra); netting maintains one net position per symbol (opposite ones collapse). Chapter 3.
I
Info modes (B/G/S/T/C/H) — the six modes of the extended EA panel: Buttons / Global filters / Status / Trading Hours / Connections (triggers) / History (per button). Chapter 8.
Initial Enabled — whether a button should be enabled automatically at EA start. Startup is a system event — it does not fire triggers. Chapters 9, 17.
Inputs — the tab of EA parameters loaded at startup. Changing most of them requires a reload (some values — Daily Profit/Loss, EG, PT — are editable live from the panel). Chapter 8.
K
Keep Extreme Across Zone Exits — a former button field (up to release 1.27): whether the tracked OKUR extreme survives leaving the zone. As of 1.28 replaced by the Keep Across Exits mode of the Extreme Mode field; when an old set is loaded through the panel the key is translated automatically (straight into the EA via F7 — it is skipped). Chapter 9.6.
Keep TL after hit — the default Target Line behavior in version 1.00: the line stays after a hit; when there are no positions in its direction, it recolors to the “no positions” color. Chapter 11.
L
Latch (time-based Auto-Arm) — the “once a day” mechanism: arming after the hour fires only once in a given day. Chapter 12.
Layers 1–9 (architecture) — the nine decision layers: Strategy Buttons, Filters, Activation Zones + Target Lines, Position management, BEa, Stop on Opposite, Account guardians, Trading Hours, Cross-button Triggers. Chapter 1.
Filters Mode — a button field (as of 1.28): the combining mode of its three OWN filters (SAR/MMD/SR Box): All (AND) — every active one must permit (classic) / Any (OR) — one is enough. Global filters, activation zones and the Free opens gate remain a hard “and” in both modes. Chapter 10.7.
Local filter (per button) — a filter instance configured separately for each button. Chapter 10.
Lock-in level (EG trailing) — the EG realization level in profit-trailing mode: peak Total PnL − Distance, rising only (it never moves back). Chapter 15.
Loop detection — trigger protection against loops: a 1000 ms window / max 5 state changes → a 5 s cooldown. Manual clicks are never blocked. Chapter 17.
Lot Mode — how position size is computed: a fixed value (Fixed) or a proportion of the balance (per balance). Chapter 9.
Lot normalization (ATR) — a global mechanism (since 2.00): it scales the base lot of all buttons inversely to current volatility — the factor = reference ATR ÷ current ATR, clipped to the Min/Max bounds (25–400% by default). Reference ATR = 0 → the mechanism stays inert. Disabled by default. Chapter 9.9.
M
Magic number — the unique identifier of EA positions. In O!kurra: base + button number (0…4; B1=base, B5=base+4). Another EA instance on the account requires shifting the base by at least 5 (in practice by 10). Chapters 8, 9.2.
MagicOnCharts — the brand and ecosystem of tools of the MMD methodology (MMD Clouds and others), available at magiconcharts.com. O!kurra grows out of the same methodology and has its own channel (okurra.com). Chapter 1.
Manual (trigger event) — a button state change by a user click; it fires the OnManualOn / OnManualOff slots. Chapter 17.
Market / Instant execution — market: the broker fills at the market price, ignoring the deviation; instant: it honors the allowed deviation (slippage), too small = rejection / requote. Chapters 3, 5.
Mean-reversion — the strategy of price returning to the mean after a breakout; in O!kurra realized through Movement Correction. Chapter 9.
Midnight cross — a Trading Hours window jumping across midnight (start > end, e.g. “21:00-03:00”). Chapter 16.
Min distance between positions — the minimum distance (in points) between two positions of the same button; prevents clustering. Chapter 9.
MMD (Mariusz Maciej Drozdowski) — the author of the O!kurra EA; co-author of the MMD methodology together with Arkadiusz Marek Cyrzan.
MMD 2-Cloud Mode — an optional mode of the MMD filter (a separate switch at every use of MMD: per-button filter, global filter, Stop on Opposite, BEa Auto-Arm; disabled by default). Enabled: the direction is decided solely by the mutual position of the Fast and Slow clouds (the Fast/Slow cross), and the Trend cloud is ignored and hidden in the preview. Disabled: the classic three-cloud alignment (Fast above Slow above Trend = bullish, mirrored = bearish). Chapter 10.
MMD Clouds Filter — the proprietary MMD trend filter based on six averages (Fast/Slow/Trend pairs). Chapter 10.
Momentum / Continuation — the strategy of trend continuation after a breakout; in O!kurra realized through Movement Continuation. Chapter 9.
Monitor Own Only — see “own only” mode (Monitor Own Only).
Movement — travel of the OKUR oscillator, measured in oscillator units; the condition that produces a button’s entry signal (Movement Correction / Movement Continuation). This is NOT the same as Price Movement, which measures travel of the price in points or ATR multiples. The two sit side by side in the button panel, so the distinction is binding: “Movement” asks how far the indicator travelled, “Price Movement” asks how far the price travelled. Chapters 9 and 18.
Movement Continuation — the button’s momentum trigger: how much further OKUR push beyond the threshold generates a signal. Measured in oscillator units, not points. Chapter 9.
Movement Correction — the button’s mean-reversion trigger: how much OKUR pullback from the extreme generates a signal. Measured in oscillator units, not points. Chapter 9.
Multisize — tiered scaling of subsequent positions: lot = base × multiplier^tier (tier = open-position count ÷ step), with an optional lot cap. Multiplier 0/1 = off, >1 = progression, 0<m<1 = degression (each next position smaller); fractions allowed since 2.00. It exists as two rulers: per button (the button’s own grid — chapter 9.9) and the global BEa one (true-hedge add-ons — §12.6); in BEa mode the button’s role decides the ruler (hedge → global, same-side helper → its own). Both disabled by default.
Multi-window — several trading windows in one day (semicolon separator, max 5). Chapter 16.
Mutual exclusion (one or the other) — a cross-button triggers pattern: two buttons configured so that enabling one automatically disables the other (only one of the pair plays). It is an effect of your trigger configuration, not a built-in button feature. Chapter 17, scenario 6 (chapter 20).
N
Netting (account) — see Hedging vs Netting.
Notify — the Daily P/L Limits reaction after a threshold is exceeded: alert + log, without stopping trading (the EA keeps playing). Chapter 14.
O
One-shot cycle — a button option: once its own positions are closed and no live pending order remains, the button switches itself off. It turns a strategy into a single-shot one — it goes on, trades, and retires by itself instead of waiting for a manual click. Closes the Price Movement loop without an operator. Mutually exclusive with re-entry on close — one re-opens, the other retires. Chapter 9.
OKUR (oscillator) — the proprietary O!kurra oscillator. It appears in several independent roles: the button’s signal engine, the OKUR Filter (global, confirming), OKUR in Stop on Opposite (switch-off), OKUR in BEa Auto-Arm (trigger). Chapters 9, 10, 12, 13.
OKUR bounce — the sixth BEa Auto-Arm trigger (as of 1.28): it arms the shield when the oscillator pulls back by a set correction from an extreme inside the exhaustion zone (a top above the upper threshold / a bottom below the lower one). The Movement Correction pattern applied to the shield; a shared oscillator instance with OKUR transition; once per zone visit. Chapter 12.7.
OKUR bias — which zone the oscillator currently sits in: BUY (in the BUY zone), SELL (in the SELL zone) or neutral (when in both at once or in neither). Used by Stop on Opposite and BEa Auto-Arm. Chapters 10, 12, 13.
OKUR zone — a band on the oscillator scale described by four fields: threshold (Threshold), side (Side: above/below), reach (Reach) and open (Reach Open). The oscillator belongs to the zone when it is on the indicated side of the threshold and — for a closed zone — no farther than the reach. A shared, stateless model for the OKUR Filter, Stop on Opposite and BEa Auto-Arm (each has its own BUY/SELL zones). Chapter 10.
OnAnyAutoOn / OnAnyAutoOff — trigger slots fired on automatic button state changes (Follow BEa, Auto re-arm, Target Line hit, Stop on Opposite, another trigger). Chapter 17.
OnManualOn / OnManualOff — trigger slots fired on manual state changes (a user click). Chapter 17.
Opt-in (filter) — the model in which a button decides with a separate switch whether to use a given global filter; disabled by default. Chapter 10.
“Own only” mode (Monitor Own Only) — a mode, enabled by default, in which the EA monitors and closes only the positions opened by this instance (per the own-position registry); trade markers have a twin filter (Markers Own Only). It lets two instances work on the same symbol (even with the same Magic base) without taking over each other’s positions. The boundary: the realized result and the daily limits (DPL) remain shared per (account, Magic base). Chapters 5.5, 18, 21.
Own-position registry (own-registry) — the list, kept by each EA instance, of the positions it opened itself (a file in OKU/ea_memory/, survives a terminal restart). The basis of “own only” mode. Chapters 5.5, 7.5.
P
Pending order — a buy/sell stop or limit placed by a button based on an OKUR signal; a position is created when price touches the pending order. Chapter 9.
Pending Stop / Limit Distance — the distances of stop and limit pending orders from the current price. Chapter 9.
PnL (profit/loss) — Floating (from open positions), Realized (from closed ones), Total (floating + realized).
Price Movement — the family of four price-travel sensors: they measure how far the price has travelled (in points or ATR multiples) and, on that basis, switch the subscribed buttons on or off. Measurement runs on ticks, on the BID price. Not to be confused with Movement, which measures travel of the OKUR oscillator. Chapter 18.
Price Movement sensor — one of the four independent meters of the Price Movement family. It has a measurement mode, a direction, a threshold, a window and a re-arm rule. A sensor does not name its targets — it is the button that subscribes to the sensor (see sensor subscription). Chapter 18.
Profit Target (PT) — a basket guardian based only on realized profit. Closing modes: close all / close losing only. Chapter 15.
PROTECTION OFFLINE — an EA alert signaling that protective modifications (e.g. tightening SL at Break Even / Trailing) are being rejected because trading on the client/terminal side is blocked (e.g. AutoTrading disabled) — the virtual protection of positions is effectively not working until trading is unblocked. Chapter 21.
R
React-on-Opposite — see Stop on Opposite. Three possible reactions per filter: disable the button, close positions (with the button disabled) or close positions leaving the button active. Chapter 13.
Re-entry on close — a button option: after one of its positions closes, the EA checks the state conditions (zone, filters, hours, spread, limits) and, if everything permits, opens the next position at once instead of waiting for a fresh oscillator move. One check per exit, never a stream. It does not react to protective closes (Close All, Equity Guard, Profit Target, the daily limit, a shield realization). A shared setting picks how it opens: at market or as a normal pending. Chapter 9.
Realized PnL — the realized result from closed positions. The basis of Profit Target. Chapter 15.
Risk profile — a description of a scenario’s intensity (conservative / moderate / aggressive). Chapter 20.
Rollover — see day reset (the term “rollover” remains as the name of the day-change event). Chapter 14.
S
SAR (Parabolic SAR) — a classic trend indicator; in O!kurra it plays the roles of a filter, a switch-off (SO) and a BEa Auto-Arm trigger. Chapters 10, 12, 13.
Self-target — an attempt to set a trigger pointing a button at itself; rejected at startup. Chapter 17.
Sensitivity (OKUR) — the oscillator’s sensitivity (initially 0.01). Chapters 9, 10.
Server Stops — see: T. on Server (real SL/TP) (name changed on the panel).
Signal Band (validity window) — the signal’s time window: the first signal in the zone arms the window, which closes when the Band Exit Threshold is crossed. Chapter 9.
Signal Bar (candle mode) — which candle the signal is computed from: Live (the current one, may repaint) or Closed (the last closed one, stable). Chapter 9.
Signal zone — in SR Last Zone Mode: the last confirmed SR zone, setting the only allowed entry direction (resistance → SELL, support → BUY). On the chart OkurraSR/OkurraGlobalSR draw it as a thick, hollow frame; a break of the signal zone revokes the direction until a new zone forms. Chapters 6, 10.
Slippage (price deviation) — the allowed deviation of the execution price (in points). In O!kurra set separately for opening (default 20) and closing (default 500; larger = fewer exit rejections). Chapters 3, 5.
Sensor subscription — how buttons are wired to Price Movement sensors: it is the button that says which sensor switches it on and which switches it off, not the sensor that names its targets. Same pattern as opting into the global filters. One sensor can therefore serve any number of buttons, and can even wake some while shutting others down in the same event. Chapter 18.
Slot (trigger) — a single trigger connection: an action (none / Activate / Deactivate) + a target (1…7). Each button has four slots. Chapter 17.
Spread — the bid–ask difference; it affects the filling of pending orders and can widen around data releases. Chapter 21.
SR Box — support/resistance zones (based on ZigZag); the roles of a filter, a switch-off (SO) and an Auto-Arm trigger. Chapters 10, 12, 13.
SR Last Zone Mode — a mode of the SR filter (per button and global) in which the last confirmed zone sets the only allowed entry direction (resistance → SELL, support → BUY); it overrides SR Reaction Mode. See also: signal zone. Chapter 10.
Status Block — the panel section with the current state: SELL/BUY positions, the “From reset” result, Daily Profit/Loss, EG, PT, notes. Chapter 8.
Stop Loss (SL) — the automatic close of a single position once a given loss (in points) is reached. Chapter 9.
Stop on Opposite (SO) — the mechanism reacting when a filter shows a signal opposite to the button’s direction. Three reactions per filter: disable the button (with possible Auto re-arm); close positions (closes the button’s positions + cancels pending orders + disables, no Auto re-arm); close positions but leave the button active (on the panel CLOSE_KEEP_ON — closes + cancels pending orders, the button stays enabled and can enter again, no Auto re-arm). Chapter 13.
Stop Trading After (EG/PT) — what to do after a fire: continue / disable buttons / pause N minutes. Chapter 15.
Stops level / Freeze level (broker) — the minimum distance (in points) between price and the SL/TP level required by the broker; closer = the modification is rejected. The EA presses SL to this minimum at Break Even / Trailing. Chapter 9.
T
T. History (Trade History) — closed trades as arrows on the chart (both arrows colored by result: profit green / loss red; direction by arrow shape); SELL/BUY/Profit/Loss filters + H mode (per button). The button label on the panel = “T. History”. Chapter 19.
T. Levels (Trade Levels) — a native MT5 feature: open positions on the chart with SL/TP lines. The button label on the panel = “T. Levels”. Chapter 19.
T. on Server (real SL/TP) — the mode in which the EA writes real SL/TP on positions at the broker (instead of keeping them virtually) — the protection survives an EA/VPS failure. On the OkurraGlobal and EA panels it appears under the label “T. on Server” (a button in the Trade Markers row; it used to be “SS”/“Real SL/TP”). One switch per symbol, with the options “Schedule auto” / “On from start” / “Keep stops on Server” and a day schedule in the same format as Trading Hours. For now it covers only real SL/TP — pending orders remain virtual (bringing them under this name is a planned extension, not yet implemented). Chapter 9.
Take Profit (TP) — the automatic close of a single position once a given profit is reached (0 = disabled). Chapter 9.
Target Block — the panel section with live-editable cells (Daily Profit/Loss, EG, EG Distance, Profit Target). Chapter 8.
Target Line — a line (horizontal or trend) marking the closing level of a direction’s basket; when touched, it closes all positions of that direction. By default it stays after being touched (Keep TL after hit). Chapter 11.
Target Line ladder — a multi-stage strategy: several Target Lines, the “Stop button after Target Line hit” reaction disabled; each touch closes the basket, the button lives on and collects further positions. Chapter 11, scenario 4 (chapter 20).
Threshold (OKUR) — the oscillator’s signal threshold (positive for SELL, negative for BUY). Chapter 9.
Total PnL — the basket’s floating + realized since the last zero. Used by Equity Guard. Chapter 15.
Trade Markers — the panel section controlling trade visualization (the T. Levels, T. on Server, T. History buttons + the SELL/BUY/Profit/Loss filters). “Show Trade Markers Group” shows/hides the whole section (both rows). Chapters 8, 18.
Trading Hours (TH) — the time windows in which the EA generates signals: per day, multi-window, midnight cross; broker time. “Exclude BEa mode” lets a button in BEa mode finish closing the basket outside the window. Layer 8 of the architecture. Chapter 16.
Trading window — a Trading Hours time interval in which the EA can generate signals (format “HH:MM-HH:MM”, broker time). Chapter 16.
Trailing Stop (per position) — an SL following price at a fixed distance, once the start threshold is reached. Chapter 9.
Transitive chains — trigger propagation across multiple levels (B1 → B3 → B5). Chapter 17.
Trigger propagation — transitive cascading: a trigger in B1 activates B3, which fires the auto event in B3 and activates B5. Chapter 17.
U
Use Global … Filter — a per-button switch enabling the use of the global version of a filter (SAR/MMD/SR) instead of the local one. Chapter 10.
V
Virtual (stealth) SL/TP — an SL/TP kept in the EA’s memory, invisible to the broker; the EA itself closes the position when the level is touched. Reliable (recognition by the position’s persistent ID), restored after a restart, but it works only while the EA is online. The alternative for offline = a real SL. Chapter 9.
W
Wind down / Arm shield now — the two exit variants when switching the EA off. Wind down (the default) arms nothing by itself and never opens anything — the shield arms through its own normal triggers. Arm shield now arms the shield immediately on every side that holds positions; with the “open the first hedge on arm” option enabled this means opening a hedging position, so switching the EA off can open a position. The confirmation dialog says so before you click. Chapters 8, 12.
Weighted break-even — the price at which the combined result of a one-direction basket would be zero (taking lots into account). The more positions in worse spots, the closer it lies to the current price — which makes it easier for the basket to exit in the plus. Chapter 12.
Z
ZigZag — an indicator of highs and lows; the basis for SR Box. Parameters: Depth, Deviation, Backstep. Chapter 10.
Zone padding (Zone/Line padding) — the tolerance of an activation zone: for a channel it widens the band at both edges, for a line it is a tolerance of ±N points around it. Chapter 11.
