Learn Okurra on live settings
Twelve lessons, each a ready-to-load .set file with a full write-up and a diagram. The course is cumulative: every lesson adds exactly one layer to the previous one. Learn them in order — don't move on until you understand every trade in the current set.
- 01 Start
First signal: price stretches, then returns
The simplest configuration Okurra EA allows — one button, one position, a hard SL and TP. See where the entry signal actually comes from, before we add filters and shields.
New layer: OKUR threshold, SL/TP - 02 Start
Managed exit: Break Even and Trailing Stop
The same entry as in lesson 01, but the position stops passively waiting for the SL or TP — Break Even secures the entry, and the Trailing Stop follows the move.
New layer: managed exit - 03 Start
Move geometry: correction versus continuation
Two buttons in the same direction, differing only in the geometry of the entry — one buys the panic at its climax, the other waits for evidence of reversal. See on a single chart how differently they enter the same move.
New layer: Correction vs Continuation - 04 Start
Entry discipline: Signal Band and density limits
A single stretch can generate a burst of signals in the same place. Three independent brakes — the validity band, a per-candle limit and a minimum distance — turn a cloud of entries into planned installments.
New layer: Signal Band + limits - 05 Core
The MMD trend filter: the same signals, only with the trend
The first directional filter in the course — three MMD moving-average clouds split the market into three regimes and cut out signals going against the trend. See the difference between the oscillator subwindow and the chart.
New layer: 3 MMD clouds, strict mode - 06 Core
S/R zones: price reacts to levels, not to wishes
The SR Box filter builds support and resistance zones out of ZigZag swings and checks WHERE the signal fires. In reaction mode an entry is possible only at a level — fewer trades, but every one with a reason.
New layer: SR Box, reaction mode - 07 Core
Higher-timeframe consent: global filters on M15
The M1 button asks two M15 instances for consent — the Global MMD trend and the Global OKUR extremes veto. Decision model: M1 aims, M15 grants consent.
New layer: Global MMD + OKUR M15 - 08 Core
Regime change: evacuation on the opposite signal
Filters guard the entry — but what about positions that already live when the market flips regime? The React on Opposite mechanism closes them by a structural decision, not a price stop.
New layer: evacuation on the flip (mode 3) - 09 Core
Capital protection: brakes fitted BEFORE they are needed
The account as a whole gets its own layer of defense: Equity Guard books the basket's profit, Basket Max Loss sets the floor, a daily limit cuts a bad day short, and quality gates block bad entries.
New layer: Equity Guard, Basket Max Loss, DPL, gates - 10 Core
Time and failure: Trading Hours + T. on Server
The session schedule decides WHEN the EA looks for entries, and stops pushed out to the broker's server decide WHO watches them when the VPS, the connection or the terminal goes down.
New layer: Trading Hours + stops on the server - 11 Advanced
The BEa shield: the basket exits at even, not in panic
Break Even auto defends the whole basket: an opposite MMD cross arms the shield, the follower button adds opposite positions and drags the shared break-even level down to price.
New layer: auto-arm MMD + hedge follower - 12 Advanced
Full orchestration: the skeleton of a production set
The finale of the course: three buttons in three roles and the full set of protective layers in a single set. Not “the best set for XAUUSD”, but a pattern for assembling Okurra's building blocks into a self-contained machine.
New layer: multi-button + Multisize + Cloud Entry
