Release workshop 2.03 — how it went
Release workshop 2.03: time setups (“minutes”) as a layer above the robot, ATR in three roles, adding positions only when the previous ones are in profit and the new T. on Server default — and, after the break, installing the new version and working together in the Strategy Tester on gold history.

Three hours and twenty-five minutes of live work in a small group. The session was the release workshop for 2.03: the first part reviewed what has changed in the robot, the second covered installing the new version and working together in the Strategy Tester, with participants’ questions along the way.
What changed in 2.03
- Time setups (“minutes”). A list of minutes at which the robot checks its entry conditions works as a layer above O!kurra. We covered where that list comes from (an input parameter or a file), the setup journal, the collection zone and the target, and the fact that a setup and a position have two different life cycles.
- ATR in three roles — as a volatility gate, as a unit of movement and as the basis for position size.
- Adding positions only when the previous ones are in profit.
- T. on Server — the new default value and the difference between stops held by the broker and virtual stops. Plus the T. Levels button and working over an unstable internet connection.
- Trading hours and the Asian session, per-instrument data, equity guard and profit target.
The first part closed with a check of how an old set behaves on the new version.
After the break: minutes in practice
Questions about the availability of minutes and their versions, the statistics of a single minute (maximum deviation, MaxTime), minutes loaded from files and winding positions down, as well as keys and file security.
Installation and the Strategy Tester
Installing the new version and loading sets, then working on a shared screen in the Strategy Tester: a base set on the week of 10–15 August, lot calculated from balance and choosing the starting capital, a day with CPI data. Next, attaching minutes to a set — first one, then two in a single file (buy and sell) — and a test across many Mondays of gold history.
One of the analyses showed a minute that did not reach its planned target. The conclusion that closed the session: minutes are a historical picture, not a promise.
